After a gestation of three years, the second Ocean Oyster Bar and Grill will be opening on Broadway and Jefferson in Redwood City in February 2025. The former traditional Spaghetti Company space has been totally transformed by Kathy Bate Designs into an upscale seafood restaurant boasting 2 cocktail bars, an enclosed Oyster Bar, Oyster Lounge with open air seating, dramatic dining space with a “Reef” custom divider, and private dining spaces highlighting the 8 Phases of the Moon on LCD screens. Kathy has infused her signature custom elements from several local artists to surprise and delight guests as they dine throughout the restaurant.
The Redwood City Ocean is the second seafood venue opened by the Duran family, the first being the design award-winning Ocean in Union City.
